Yesterday afternoon Kelly and I ventured back to Stanley Park. Instead of walking the seawall again we decided to visit the Vancouver Aquarium. It was really cool! We saw loads of fish, Beluga whales, dolphins, sea otters, frogs, and turtles. They even had a mini rain forest with marmosets, snakes, spiders, and a bunch of other insects.

Here’s me with the beluga whales (Kelly’s favourite). The mom had just given birth to a baby in the summer so it was cool to see them swim around together.

This is us in the rain forest with a picture of an anaconda, definitely Kelly’s least favourite. She does not enjoy snakes!

It was a great visit. We got lost in there for at least a couple hours. They’re pretty clever with the way they have the exit setup. The only way to get out of the place is through the gift shop which is a kids heaven. They had just about everything you could think of in there. Parents need blindfolds for their kids just to get out of there. I was navigating my way through the crowds trying to make it to the door and every time I looked back Kelly had wondered off again looking at all the different stuff. Eventually I got her out of there though. It was a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver.
