You beat some proven champion athletes. It was difficult to predict it would take a 28 minute something 10K to beat Brownlee. I saw the race and it looked like the lead pack was running a mile race, so fast. Normally it looks like relaxed running on video but this looked like a sprint race. I thought Gomez looked more relaxed but Brownlee still took it with a Prefontaine-like drive.

Anyway congrats on your improvements this year. I would kill to run 31 minutes in a 10k road race at any age, to do so after an intense swim and bike is a phenomenal world class performance…and you are only going to get faster, if for no other reason than you know you can.
