Less than 2 weeks to go now before the Huatulco World Cup in Mexico. This will be my final race of the 2008 season. It’s been a long year and I’m hoping to cap it off on a high note. Training has gone well lately and I’m excited to race.
I’m really looking forward to being in Mexico next Thursday as it has been pretty chilly here in Vancouver for the past few weeks. Over the weekend I went back to Victoria to pick up some of my winter training gear because the layers just weren’t cutting it. It worked out really well as Kelly had a bit of a break from school over the long weekend and was able to come with me. We actually ended up getting quite a bit done while we were in Victoria. We cleaned up the place and threw out a lot of random stuff we didn’t need…and when I say we I mean Kelly did while I was out training. I’ve never seen the place so organized! I also got to see Rob Hasegawa for a much needed chiro adjustment and we even cooked ourselves a mini Thanksgiving dinner. It was delicious!
Now we’ve returned to Vancouver and are back into our usual routine. Kelly’s studying lots for school and I’m putting in the last bit of training before the race.
