We’ve put in some very solid training so far in the camp. We’ve been doing a lot of steady/strength work on the bike and run. Tons of climbing on every ride and lots of hills on the runs. We’ve also had a few tempo sessions in the last week which went very well. It felt good to get rolling again.
Swimming is going really well too. I’ve been feeling great in the water. There’s an open water swim race here on Sunday that we’re going to do so that should be good.
It’s been lots of fun having Adam here. We’ve learned that he is always up for anything that involves all out sprinting and I’ve learned not to stand beside massive dudes, especially with my shirt off, to avoid looking like I’m 12 years old.
