Training camp update #1

We are now one week into the camp here in Tucson. Training has been going well. The weather has been great. It was a little hot the first couple days but we’ve adapted quite well. We’re staying in a great location called Starr Pass. There’s nice riding in the area and we’re discovering new running trails everyday. There’s also a really nice track that’s only about a 10 minute jog from the condos. We did our first track workout of the year there on Sunday.

We have a very small but focused group so it’s made it easy to get the work done. Everyone is looking really good right now. It’s also been fun doing some training with the younger guys.

I’m sharing a condo with Kathy and DJ which has been lots of fun. They’re great to hang out with. We’ve shared many laughs together. They’ve cooked me some fantastic dinners too.

Here’s a few pictures from the week of training…I’m sure there will be lots more to come.
